About CBSC

Cardwell Bay Sailing Club (CBSC) is a small friendly club. It was formed in 1906 by the owners of boats moored in Cardwell Bay to promote Cruising and Racing. Cardwell Bay is situated on the south shore of the Firth of Clyde at the east side of Gourock and bordering Greenock. The Bay provides sheltered mooring for CBSC Members and other boat owners. For more information about mooring in Cardwell Bay click on Moorings to the right.

We organise many weekend Cruises through the sailing season (April - September) and a Summer cruise of approximately 2 weeks duration. Members are encouraged to join the musters and planning events and take advantage of the help, support and experience offered by seasoned members.

The highlight of the season is the regatta held at Cardwell Bay on the first or second Saturday of August with a social at the clubhouse after racing.
