Cardwell Bay Sailing Club (CBSC) is a small friendly club. It was formed in 1906 by the owners of boats moored in Cardwell Bay to promote Cruising and Racing. Cardwell Bay is situated on the south shore of the Firth of Clyde at the east side of Gourock and bordering Greenock. The Bay provides sheltered mooring for CBSC Members and other boat owners. For more information about mooring in Cardwell Bay click on MOORINGS to the left.

From time to time some members are looking for crew. No experience necessary. Click on CREW to the left for details.

The CBSC clubhouse is situated in Cove Road, Gourock. The clubhouse was built in 1977 and is used on Monday evenings for teas, pies and post mortems following the evenings Points Racing. Various Social Evenings are held over the year including a BBQ after the annual “Centenary plus” Regatta and Quiz Nights etc. The clubhouse is also used on Friday nights over the winter by Inverclyde Camera Club. clubhouse
